The picture below is of Edith and daughter Kathleen Lilian Tirrell (my mother) who was born 3rd March 1922. I have no date for this photo but would think Kathleen was not much more than one year old, so possibly the summer of 1923.

Edith died in 1925 following a tragic accident when her apron caught fire whilst she was dusting the mantlepiece. This is a copy of an article from the local newpaper after her death.

Herbert married Evelyn Davis on 3rd December 1927. This is Herbert and Evelyn on their wedding day with Herbert's daughter Kathleen Lilian.
