(My Mother)
This is the earliest photo I have of Mum. She doesn't know when it was taken but she doesn't look much more than 8 or 9 months.
At the age of 13 Kathleen was a bridesmaid at the wedding of Norah Stobbart Butler and Arthur Thomas Roberts. This took place at Ravenfield Parish Church on 5th April 1935. Norah was the daughter of Frank Butler who was the half brother of Kathleen's maternal grandfather. Kathleen is the young bridesmaid standing at the side of the groom.
